Great place to take the kiddos swimming. Well kept clean area. Tons of places for a picnic or just a shade tree to read a book and relax. Beautiful lake with bluffs that you can jump off of. And always a park ranger to assist with any questions and answers that you may have. Also boat rentals near by if you enjoy to ski on the large lake. Love taking my kids. They have multiple places to picnic and swim or cliff jump and camp. You can even rent boats and jet skis.
This has been one of my favorite places to swim, boat, camp, and party for around fifteen years now. The views are beautiful. The cliffs are for anyone from beginner to intermediate and the place is generally well populated. That means it is usually a good place to meet new people and make new friends.
I was pleasantly surprised when my husband brought us here! Nice playground area, shallow swimming area, cliff jumping, and swimming kept us entertained all afternoon! We barbequed hot dogs and had a nice picnic dinner before cleaning up and leaving. Restrooms were clean, and staff friendly.
We bring our students here every year. This year 100 people came with us. We love this place
