This place is great! Very beautiful. Unfortunately there was a large amount of small ticks.

Great info on area. Really nice trail and drive thru woods to see dam from observation deck. Nice friendly staff. Clean restrooms.
Wonderful glimpse of many aspects of life in this region. Early native americans..Ozark settlers..building of the dam...wildlife... Enjoy all of it.
A little disappointed that it is only open from May through October, but there are good trails on site, and some interesting artifacts from the dam-building.
