We opted for a slightly used 2015 Ford Explorer. A real cream puff. It was beautiful, low miles, clean inside and out and came with options we've never had on any vehicle we have owned previously.
I suppose that people who have sold cars for years 'just know'. There never was a moment of high pressure sales, no one tried to convince us that if we walked away that it would be a 'missed opportunity'. Trey was gracious as he talked to us about how much we loved the vehicle.
I ended up taking my wife to dinner in Searcy, giving us plenty of time to test drive the car and get to know some of the many options. I'm not sure it was the drive from Heber to Searcy that did it, but I am convinced that on the drive back, we knew we were in love with the car.
Next up, Andrew (finance). He was going to tell us about financing, payment options, trade-in value and extended warranties. In no time Andrew informed us that he found financing that beat our credit union of more than 20 years. He explained the extended warranty options and customer protection and he could not have been more pleasant or professional. Again, no hard sales, just solid information.
Since we couldn't get our car repaired until late the following day, and we couldn't get anyone on the phone to come pick us up, it was suggested that we obtain a loaner vehicle. (Full disclosure here, I don't believe this service, a loaner vehicle, is available to just anyone appearing on the JJ lot, but since they would be keeping our vehicle and we had good insurance, etc., they agreed that we qualified for their loan availability). And besides, it was still my wife's birthday.

While we waited to see how long it would be before we could get a belt and make the repair, we started looking over the lot........just to see. My wife even stated that 'we aren't buying, 'just looking'. As we looked over the cars we were approached by Trey (sales). (Full disclosure here, I knew Trey previously when we coached youth baseball, but I didn't know he was a car salesman). There were a couple models that really caught our attention, and even as the notion that we are 'just looking' started to fade a bit, we agreed that we saw a lot that we liked.
Awesome experience! Called from Memphis about a used Mustang on a Friday. They were very patient and helpful on the phone - no rush job or pressure so I was confident about driving up the next morning...and glad I did. They could've played hardball since I was 3 hours from home but did not. They were still willing to deal and everyone I talked with there was polite and helpful. It's hard to find customer service like this anymore!

Those big box dealerships in Little Rock or elsewhere might lure you to their lots with promises of 'lowest prices and great service', but I'm not certain that they could beat what Jayson Jones Ford is providing. I encourage anyone considering a new or used vehicle purchase to give the Jayson Jones sales team the opportunity to provide the same degree of professionalism they gave my wife and I. We love our new vehicle and we love the idea that Jayson Jones will be with us for a long time to come.
My wife and I arrived at Jayson Jones Ford in a tow truck. While out on her birthday, her car broke a fan belt that left us stranded. When we arrived at the dealership Sean (parts) checked for a replacement belt. Unfortunately, there were none to be had.
A great product, a great price and financing, from a dealership with a rock solid reputation for after the sales care. I just don't see how it gets any better. In the world of customer care, especially with such a big decision and investment, that is the absolute trifecta of customer care.
The next thing I know, we are asking "where do we sign"? Andrew continued to do his thing and it wasn't long before we met Brad (customer service). Brad explained how 'the Jayson Jones Family" welcomed us and that we would always have them backing our purchase. "Anything you need, call me. If there's a problem, call me. If you have questions or concerns, call me". He was sincere and my wife and I had complete confidence that we were going to be in good hands after the sale was complete.
